“Being happy doesn’t mean that everything is perfect. It means that you’ve decided to look beyond the imperfections.” – Unknown
Happiness is elusive. Happiness usually happens on the way to somewhere else.
You may find it in the middle of forgetting to look for it.
If you seek it, it might run away. If you try to attain it, it may be hollow.
Think of all the people trying to be happy who are miserable.
Remember: Thinking “I’m not happy” is the problem.
And focusing on the problem, as we know, will make the problem grow bigger!
You can squeeze the life out of happiness spending so much energy trying to find it, get it and keep it.
Happiness happens when you are intently focused on something else–something good.
Try to be good at life. Try to be good at what you do. Choose something to do that you can be good at. We all have something.
**Find a passion. And remember that your gainful work and your passion don’t always have to be the same ─ though they often intersect at beautiful junctures.
Find a Thing that is yours. Everyone’s got one. One is enough. One really good Thing is enough to make happiness happen.
Some people have several. That’s OK too. But look for that One Thing until you find it.
Work on life! Don’t give up! Keep at it until you get better. One day you will get better than you thought possible.
Don’t worry about being happy!
One day when you are in the middle of doing your “thing” with Gratitude, the tipping point will happen, and happiness will spill all over on to you!!
You’ll be surprised by joy!
