I was going to write about empty space:

I missed posting yesterday because my little faithful kitty Mo died in his sleep yesterday morning very early. I found him when I woke up. No suffering, no sign of illness, just slipped away.

I am very sad and will not compose my regular piece for you this week.

But I thought it was of note that I was going to write about empty space in art, or as artists like to call it– negative space. It’s the places in the painting between the things you meant to paint.

So very VERY important.

I will write about this next Monday and my thoughts–which will probably be enriched by the aching empty space where Mo used to be.
